The support and encouragement of the New Voices Staff have been amazing
and have been some of the great and unexpected bonuses of my fellowship
experience. The New Voices Program has been one of the best programs I have been
a part of, and I believe that this program and programs like this are
essential to developing the capacity of emerging leaders. This is especially
necessary since, as far as I know, very few programs like this exist.
They are so essential to non-profit organizations in their renewal and
development. Keep up the great work, I know it is hard to keep programs
like this one going. After almost two years in this program, I appreciate it more now than
ever. I am proud and honored to be working for an organization that has
integrity and has a mission that I live by. In addition, I love the New
Voices fellows and staff and could not have wished for a better opportunity.
Thank You! So far this fellowship has been a great experience. I hope to continue
to learn more. Thanks for an incredible experience! I consider myself incredibly, incredibly
lucky to be a part of New Voices. Thank you very much for the opportunity
to do this work. It is a dream come true. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this wonderful fellowship.
I feel very honored to be in such amazing company! I am truly grateful for this opportunity. This entire fellowship process
is, in a way, a reflection period. If we could all brainstorm ways of keeping this network going I think
that would be great! I've definitely enjoyed my time as a New Voices fellow.
This fellowship has been really valuable for someone like me. I come
from a humble background - working class parents with few opportunities.
But I'm glad that there exists this type of opportunity for folks like
me who don't come from privilege. Thank you and I hope others like me
are able to experience this. New Voices has been a great experience for me. In my opinion, the heart of the program rests with the New Voices staff.
You guys do nothing but motivate and encourage. Thanks for your support.
My fellowship ends in 2.5 weeks. What an amazing experience! As I said before, I am really grateful to have this opportunity to work
at CEJIL, to get to know the New Voices community and feel a part of it,
and have the personal and professional support of the New Voices staff.
I truly enjoyed the fellowship and it was essential to supporting my
work with the Coalition. Thanks for your support! The fellowship experience was an important step
in my career, and I'm grateful that you all worked so hard to make it
happen. It was a real honor to have been selected to participate in the program.
It has changed both my life and Global Kids. I hope I can give back to
it somehow in the future. I think it is an amazing program. I feel incredibly fortunate to have
had the opportunity to work on issues that are important to me, and with
an incredible network of advocates. More than anything, New Voices allowed me to do the work I wanted to
do. If we really want any change, we need to organize….through this
Fellowship I have been able to know other people who are organizing a
different front…I think this network is very important. It’s a luxury and a blessing to be able to do something that really
speaks to who you feel you are and what your life’s purpose is and
to be able to spend your days in pursuit of that gives you a sense of
living with purpose and I treasure that. I think what’s incredible about the fellowship is the space it
gives you to be creative…social justice work is real work ….work
that needs to be funded. |
