New Voices Fellow Belquis Ahmadi Honored

Ms. Ahmadi has labored tirelessly to mobilize and amplify the voices of Afghan women since fleeing the Taliban with her younger sisters in 1996. Prior to fleeing to Pakistan, she co-founded the Afghan Women's Network in Kabul with her Law professor. Currently, Ms. Ahmadi is Afghanistan/Pakistan Program Coordinator at the International Human Rights Law Group.
