Ms. Ahmadi has labored tirelessly to mobilize and amplify the voices of Afghan women since fleeing the Taliban with her younger
sisters in 1996. Prior to fleeing to Pakistan, she co-founded the
Afghan Women's Network in Kabul with her Law professor. Currently, Ms. Ahmadi is Afghanistan/Pakistan Program Coordinator at the International Human Rights Law Group.
